I have used the Advantage Multi (Advocate) on my dog and cat for three summer months. No fleas or ear mites and as a bonus, absolutely no ticks here in tick infested northern Michigan. I know Beyer doesn't say it prevents or kills ticks but MOXIDECTIN is one of the ingredients and is used to kill ticks. That is just my thoughts on it but Beyer does not say that Advantage Multi (Advocate) prevents or kills ticks so take what I say about it with caution. Saves money not having to buy separate medicines for pest control and heart worm control, worm control and ear mite control. Neither dog or cat has shown any bad affects in last three applications. Just applied new dose today and always keep fingers crossed and worry for 24 hours.
